With over 25 years of proven success, TKO Artist Management specializes in artist and brand management as well as publishing administration.
Founder and President, TK Kimbrell, graduated early from high school and moved to Nashville at the age of 17, via Greyhound bus, to pursue a career in music.
In 1980, while working his way through the music business ranks, Kimbrell became Steve Wariner's bass player and tour manager. He later became Wariner's management company representative.
A driven entrepreneur, Kimbrell opened his own management company, TKO Artist Management, in 1987 and signed his first client, singer/songwriter Mac McAnally. In 1989 he added Sawyer Brown, one of country music's most successful groups, to his roster. Since then, TKO has represented the legendary cowboy Chris LeDoux and overseen the skyrocketing success of megastar Toby Keith. In addition to managing Keith's career as an artist, Kimbrell also oversees all of Keith's entertainment interests including Wild Shot Mezcal, I Love This Bar and Grill restaurants, sponsorships, movies, recording, and publishing ventures.
In 2004, Kimbrell's achievements as a manager were recognized when he was named Entertainment Marketer of the Year by Advertising Age Magazine. Billboard magazine declared Kimbrell one of Nashville's Top 50 Power Players in 2015 and 2016.
With this success comes the opportunity to develop new acts looking to carve their place in music history.
